Our Story: Creating Better Access to Better Food.
Meet the RoboBurger Founders
RoboBurger was invented by Audley Wilson - a data scientist, Dan Braido - a Rutgers PhD grad, and Andy Siegel - a serial entrepreneur, right here, in New Jersey.
Audley is a Jamaican immigrant and has been working on food automation since he was a teenager. His early invention got him a scholarship to Carnegie Mellon where he met Dan. He founded a restaurant during college, which is where he came up with the idea for RoboBurger. From humble beginnings, the first prototypes were built in Audley’s garage in Queens. Audley’s career continued into data science and analytics, which is where he met Andy. In 2019, Dan, Andy and Audley joined forces to make RoboBurger a reality.
Dan has been long passionate about automation and robotics. He founded his high school robotics team and won the US FIRST Robotics competition. After undergrad, Dan went on to study at Rutgers University achieving a MS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, and a PhD in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering.
Andy is a direct marketing guru who has sold over $1 Billion of goods on TV. In addition, Andy has extensive hospitality experience owning 3 restaurants in Jersey City. His extensive business and F&B experience has helped to guide RoboBurger to where we are today.
Together, they dreamed about having a technology that can grill and assemble a delicious burger at the press of a button - at any time of day or night.
